Atikokan Hydro Inc. will continue to be the distributor of electricity to all customers in our service area. We will continue to manage the distribution system in a manner to deliver safe reliable electricity to our customers. You will receive a monthly hydro bill for the electricity costs.

Atikokan Hydro Inc will trim or remove trees that may come in contact with electrical wires. If you have a tree that you are concerned about, come to the office and sign a waiver form. We will investigate the situation, and schedule the trimming / removal.

Call Before You Dig

For your safety, before you do any digging in an area where there may be underground cables, you should place a request for a locate service.

Contact Ontario One Call 5 days before you plan to dig. Ontario One Call contacts infrastructure owners notifying you plan to dig.  Atikokan Hydro will provide the locate request at no charge within 5 working days of the request.
